Divith Reddy Adulla and Sharvaanica A S are World Cadet Rapid 2024 U-8 Open and U-10 Girls Champions
Divith Reddy Adulla scored 10/11 to clinch Gold at World Cadet Rapid Under-8 Open. He finished a half point ahead of the field. Lukyan Huzela (UKR) scored 9.5/11 to secure Silver. Nurislam Sultankhan (KAZ) won Bronze medal scoring 8/11 due to better tie-breaks. Sharvaanica won a Gold medal in the Under-10 Girls Rapid. Alisa Genrietta Yunker scored sole 8.5/11 to secure Silver. Malika Norkulova (UZB) won Bronze scoring 8/11 and had a better tie-break score. Divith also won a Bronze in Under-8 Open Blitz. Sharvaanica earned a Silver medal by scoring 9/11 in Under-10 Girls Blitz. The top three prizes in Rapid were Cup, medal, diploma and €600, €450 and €350 each, for Blitz they were, Cup, medal, diploma and €500, €400 and €300 each respectively. Blitz: Sharvaanica Silver and Divith Bronze
Divith Reddy Adulla is the Telangana State Under-7 Open and Under-9 Open 2023 champion. He is yet to win a National or Asian title, yet that did not stop him from winning a World title at a tender age of seven. The Commonwealth Under-10 Girls 2023-24 Gold medalist, Sharvaanica A S clinched another Gold at World Cadet Under-10 Girls Rapid. They both won a Bronze and Silver medal in their respective category's Blitz events.

A total of 59 players from 22 countries across the world in the Rapid Under-8 Open, 43 players from 19 countries in the Under-10 Girls; 51 players from 22 countries in Under-8 Open Blitz and 41 players from 18 countries in Under-10 Girls Blitz category participated. The tournament was organized by FIDE and Albania Chess Federation at Grand Blue FAFA Resort in Durres, Albania from 26th to 28th April 2024. The time control for the event was 15 minutes + 5 seconds increment for Rapid and 5 minutes + 3 seconds increment in Blitz.
