Kazakhstan Chess Federation invites you to Oskemen Open 2024. There are two tournaments - Masters (≥ 2100 for Men and ≥1900 for Women) and Open (1800-2100). The total prize fund in the Masters is ≈US$ 50000, and for Open ≈US$ 9329. The top three prizes are ≈US$ 2000, 1400 and 1000. Entry is FREE for GM, IM, WGM, WIM, FM, WFMs in the Masters, provided they meet the rating criteria mentioned above. Conditions are offered to players rated above 2550. Venue, Schedule, Entry fee and Eligibility
The tournament will take place in Ust-Kamenogorsk city, Kazakhstan from 1st to 10th October 2024. There is only one double round on Sunday 6th October. All other days have one round only. Check out the image below for entry fee and eligibility details.
Prizes
The total prize fund is US$ 50000. The top three prizes in the Masters category are about US$ 10400, $7300 and $5200. There are 15 main prizes. Check the image below for more details. The top three Women in the Masters will receive approx. US$ 2000, $1200 and $800. The top three Kazakhstan players will earn approx. US$ 2000, $1200 and $800 each. There are seven main prizes in Open event with an additional ten prizes. The top three prizes in Open are ≈ US$ 2000, $1400 and $1000. Please check the images below for complete prize details.
