Lucian-Costin Miron wins 18th Arad GP 2025, Manish Anto Cristiano F third
Five players - GM Lucian-Costin Miron (ROU), GM Titas Stremavicius (LTU), IM Manish Anto Cristiano F, GM Pouya Idani (IRI) and GM Adam Kozak (HUN) scored an unbeaten 7/9 each at 18th Arad Grand Prix A (>2000) 2025. Lucian-Costin won the tournament on tie-breaks. The remaining four were placed second to fifth place respectively. The total prize fund was €38000. The top three prizes were €5000, €3000 and €2000 along with a trophy each. The seven-day nine round Rating (>2000) tournament was organized by Romanian Chess Federation and Vados Chess Club Arad at Hotel Continental Forum in Arad, Romania from 3rd to 9th August 2025.
